Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer
We have an HP 7310. There is no long distance on the fax line, so I must use a calling card number. The manual says to use monitored dialing, but I cannot find how to set that. Can you help?
I use a calling card for long distance faxes. You don't have to "set" anything. They just mean listen to the printer. I am not at home right now to get the specific steps, but I believe all you do is put your fax stuff in the document feeder (I don't know if you can do this directly from the computer) and enter the 1-800 number from your calling card. Then the calling card will ask for your options and you will hear it from printer. That's what they mean by monitor. Then just follow the prompts.
