Question about GE Advantium 120 Convection/Microwave Oven
Fan continues to operate when door closed, only goes off when door left open.
Looking at the schematic in the service manual here, I would say relay RY6 on the small sub PCB (relay board) has shorted contacts.
That's the relay that runs both the fan and turntable.
It's possible that it may be a bad connection or driving component on that board, but in my experience, it's virtually always a stuck relay.
The part number on the relay as shown in the photo is hard to read, but it looks like "OJ-SH-112LM".
I should have one of these or I can point you to one if you want to contact me with the exact number.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.

Ours does this from time to time. I simply disconnect the power for a few minutes, close the door, and reconnect the power. Sometimes have to repeat the process one or two times, but it eventually works.

Have a look at this. Hopefully it's the same problem and solution for you as it was for me. I did not expect it to work, but it did and I have had no problems since.

If the fuse isn't the problem, check the door hooks and the door-release button. When these are broken, the door switch doesn't activate, so the oven can't work. You should check the internal door switches, the high voltage circuitry and the circuit board for this kind of problems. But for that you will need a certified technician to help you make these repairs.
