Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You're right, the book that comes with it is worthless. Have you found the volume buttons? On the side of the phone opposite of where the charger goes. You can push in the middle and also up or down to make it louder. I can't even figure out how to hear different ringtones. lol

When my nokia 6303 rings, the ringtones are`nt very loud. All the settings are on maximum, any ideas or are other peoples the same..? thanks

We had to record a loud ring and save it as a ringtone, none of the freebies that came with the phone were very loud.

LG EnV3 ringer volume is LOUD even when set to LOW

I have the same issue. I know this is a roundabout solution, but I love the phone in all other ways, so I handled it like this:

I make my own ringtones with audio editing software anyway, so I just made versions of my original ringtones that were "volume-cut" by 6dB or 12 dB. Then to get these .mp3 files installed as ringtones, first I save them to the "my_sounds" directory on the micro-SD card (either via USB cable and "USB Mass Storage" mode, or by taking the card out and plugging it into my PC with an SD card adapter,)

This puts them in as "sounds" but not yet ringtones. Then, on the phone itself, I send a multimedia message of each sound to myself (i.e. to this same phone, "from me to me") Once each message is received, you will get an option to "Save as Ringtone", and once you do that, the sounds become available as ringtones.

I just use ALL of my own "volume-cut" ringtones for the different ring sounds in my phone, and it makes it quieter. Note that if you then use any "standard" ringtones, they will seem particularly loud by comparison.

I am being sent mp3 files via text from my mom to use as ringtones on my phone. Some of them are being saved to my ringtones, and others aren't. The ones that aren't are showing up in my ATT music, but not...

Possibly Not - I had the same issue with a Motorockr and I contacted customer service but they told me some items may be copyrighted and those in particular would not be able to be used as ringtones but you could still listen to them as a mp3 or midi file. I know Motorola has a program called Motorola Phone Tools and that program is suppose to allow you to make your own ringtones but I am not sure if LG has a similiar program or not.

Downloaded a ring tone with the memory card but when i load it on the phone it will only play as music, can't set it as a ringtone.

Hi friend,

Could you tell me if your cell phone can support the function?

You can check like the following:user profile-General-Customize-Tone setup-Incoming call, then you can see many ringtones in it,Could you see the icon"empty"?If so,you can set the ringtone you downloaded as the ring tone of incoming call. You just need to find the ring tone you downloaded, and transmit it to the "user profile".

But if there doesn't have any "empty" icon,I am afraid that you cannot set it.But you can try to cancel some ringtones ,and replace them by the ringtones you downloaded.

You can get much detailed information in the website:www.1010store.com

Good luck!

I don't have any ringtones on my phone or I am looking in the wrong place.

Hi,
1. Go to 'setup'. SELECT IT.
2. It has the first option as 'Ringer Alert Style'. SELECT THAT.
3. You will find type of alert styles like: Ring Loud / Ring Soft / Vibe and Rig Loud etc.
4. Select the ringer type you use (You will not get any ringtones on silent or vibrate mode).
5. Select Edit. You will now find options of ringtones.
Hope this solves your problem.

Ring tone problems

It seems your phone's ringer is effected. Replace it and you will find good ringing sound. It needs little care and some tools (I can asume that you have the both). There is no any internal problem so be happy...don't worry...Enjoy and do vote here if it sounds resolving your problem.
