Question about Toshiba Satellite P105-S6104 Notebook
Replaced battery with new genuine toshiba battery. Charging indicator glows steady amber as if it were charging and power management shows battery is charging but it is not charging. I've tried 4 different batteries and get the same results. The charger is putting out the proper voltage. I believe I have a motherboard issue. Can the mb be repaired or does it have to be replaced?
Motherboard repairs are often poorly done and they are expensive except for the simplest jobs like replacing the DC jack. And new motherboards are also generally very expensive. And cheap way out of this is buying a used battery charger or a used working motherboard. eBay is usually the best place to start. Good luck!
