I have a bc500 bicycle computer. The dealer who sold it is out of business; I must reprogram it and I do not have the manual. The wheel size is not correct; I need the information to put in the wheel size and whatever other information that could be wrong.

My bike has a 29" wheel. The manual only goes to 28" wheel to set the computer. What do I do?

Set it to 28, the error will be only 5.4 percent , it doesn't really matter.
For every one revolution of the wheel the computer will think the bike has travelled 5.4% less distance than it actually has travelled so it will under read distance and speed.

I have misplaced my manual for my Blackburn sl 3.0. I am looking for the wheel size chart

Try searching for a cateye manual online - wheel sizes don't depend on which computer you have! Alternatively, use a measuring tape to measure a roll-out using the tyre valve to measure exactly one revolution.

How do I program my bicycle computer? My battery died, I changed it and now need to reprogram. Can you help? Bicycle tire size is 700 x 23C.

Just get the manual and keep it for the next time you need it...

A simple web search for "Vetta RT288L manual" finds it.

Sigma bc500 sensor will not pick up wheel rotation...just received new unit installed according to directions (which aren't very good, just pic diagram). I have the one sensor on the spoke and it is...

You have to have the magnet on the wheel VERY close to the sensor on the fork leg. Also play around with moving the sensor up and down the fork leg, all the while keeping the magnet VERY close to the sensor.
