I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

It sounds like the unit will not power on when not connected to your computer. This indicates the battery has developed a defect and is unable to hold a charge. The fastest resolution for you would be to return the unit to the retailer for an exchange or refund. The unit has a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. You would need the receipt in order to receive a warranty exchange from Coby.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

When i charged my samsung c3322 then charging start but it show message CONNECTED TO PC what i will do???

The Samsung player is charged up by thus USB cable when you connect it to your computer.
When you connect the MP3 player to your computer with the supplied USB cable then computer detects the player as an external storage device or a Removable disk, you can then view the folder on your MP3 player. Open the music folder and create a new folder on the player exactly the same way you create a folder on your computer's hard drive. To organise your music, make a folder name with the name of the music album and place the album's MP3 files in this folder, then copy the mp3 files from the computer into this folder.
You will then be able to select the music you want to play by the music album folder. To delete a file from your MP3 player, connect the supplied USB cable to your player and then plug it into the USB port of your computer.
The computer will detect your player then click on this device to view the files, you can then click on the music file to highlight the file and then press the Del key to delete the file off your MP3 player.

Cant find downloaded music on colby mp300 2G

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.1st - You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music filesonto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them toyour MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.
There are also Freeware CD RIP programs on the Internet that add the musictitle and album title to the mp3 file automatically.
Download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer, some sites willcost money to download these music files.
2nd - connect your MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The computer will see this player as an external storage device, Just copy theMP3 music files from the computer's hard disk to the MP3 player.I suggest you create a album/title folder for each CD soyou can place the mp3 music files by that artist into that folder. Then copythese folders to your MP3 player and you will be able to select and play yourMP3 music by selecting the album you wish to play.
NOTE - When the USB cable is connected to the computer, it will also charge theMP3 player's battery.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :-

I have a coby mp3 player, model MP605-2G and cant figure our how to get pictures and videos on it. Had no problems getting music on it.

If the device shows up in my computer as "removable disk F:\" or similar you should be able to drag-and-drop any files you want to it. If this device plays video and pictures as well as music, you will most likely have to use the included software (which will probably transcode video to a compatible format).

Coby mp605-4g will not turn on

Your Mp3 player will be dying soon . . mines did the same thing for a while but then it just died. If you want to make it mobile try plugging it in and when it comes on, Unplug the cord from the mp3 player and the computer, Then stick one end back into the Mp3 player with out it being connected to anything else and it should come on if it doesn't . . . I'm sorry about you player.

Ok i bought a coby mp4 player and it just wont turn on for someapperent reasonand its a mp605-4g

Sometimes the factory accidently catched the hold button , try to turn this off first and then fully charge the unit or while attached to the computer scroll throught the menu to see what your settings are. In the end you may have to return it as there may be something wrong with it. Hope this helps.

Deleting files off the RCA HC106 6 gig mp3 player.

you need to open MY COMPUTER and select the drive of your MP3 digital media player, you can view all the files on the player, select the files you don't need anymore and delete them. Disconnect the MP3 player from your computer and check whether they still show up.
