Hmmmm, well, we can do it through email as you have here.

Reply that you are still having the problem, and if you have booted down, swapped the adapters, and booted back up, and what did you find?

I'm sorry for my delayed reply. If I remember correctly, you swapped the adapters between the two computers, and the adapter that does not work did not work in the other computer, and the adapter that does work, worked in the computer that the failing adapter was.

If that is the case, then I would suspect the one adapter is bad.

Reply back if this is correct or for further help.

The first thing I will suggest is going to the main computer, and go into the router's settings, and change the channel it's on.
It's probably on 11, change it to 6 and see if that fixes it. If not, post a reply here and I'll get back to you on this issue.

Hi,
You are very limited here, but it's not impossible. Have you tried getting to a wired connection temporarily? A long way around would be to reinstall Win XP with a disc that includes the update. A word of warning though, the fix you have described (KB822603) is already included in SP2 on Win XP...SO... while you are connected to the wired internet connection, you may have to get an update for the driver of the netgear wireless wn111 hardware as well.
I hope this helps.

Wireless network connection

Mine always does that when my IP address lease renews but it's an easy fix. You can usually click on the pop up that says limited or no connectivity then in the box that comes up click repair. If you cannot get to that box you can just go to start>control panel>network connections then right click the wireless network connection then left click repair. That usually works for me.
Hope that helps!

Wireless connection to xbox

I understand this can be a little confusing , especially if you have not done it before!! I can explain to you the steps , but it is a little tricky and I don''t want to completely confuse you!

With that being said , take a look at the article I posted below. It is directly from Microsoft and is a step by step guide for this , including pictures to make it easier. When you open that link scroll about half-way down to the section that says :

"How to connect an Xbox 360 to your wireless network"

There you will see all the info you need , along with the pictures I mentioned to make it easier for you!

I hope this helps , and if you need further help feel free to leave a comment with the issue and we can clear it up...
