I have a k850i sony ericsson second hand and when someone calls me it dosent ring it goes on to call divert or something and then a symbol cones up in the left hand corner and in the bottom right hand corner it says spek or something like that can you advise me i have gone into menu tools calls an manage calls and pressed accept all calls but it just does the same Helen

This problem most common due to when water goes into cell phone. Your k850i phone LCD screen have problem, you should go into Sony Ericsson service center to replace it.
You need to restore the phone to the factory defaults. If this doesn't work, you'd have to bring your phone to someone that can update the phone's firmware.
