I can not find a bolt that will fit the mounting point on the back of my TV. It looks like a 1/4-32 but they will not fit. Can you tell me what size bolt will fit? It is a 32'' insignia plasma model NS-pdp32-09 TV.

I think it is probably a metric bolt. Maybe a 10 or 12 MM. There aren't many if any consumer electronics manufactured in the US anymore, and most use metric screws and bolts. Check one of the bolts from that table stand to see what it is. That will tell you if it is metric or standard.

The size is #8-40 X 3/4". This is a specialty screw, so you're screwed.
