Question about Vtech Kidizoom Digital Camera

1 Answer

CANNOT DOWNLOAD I have my daughters camera and it has pictures stored in the camera memory. I connected the camera to my computer with a usb , but the only thing that happens is that the usb symbol appears in the camera frame and my computer does not recognize any software. I am use to my regular digital having an immediate pop up on my computer that states you have photos to download. I preceeded to add the digital card from my camera to my daughters camera to see if I could download the photos to my card then add them to my computer. Nothing happens. Can you help me. Thanks Cindy Schindler

There is no software for the computer to recognize and it will not download to your computer automatically. This is what you do: After connecting the usb cable from the camera to your computer, go into my computer and look for the drive, it will probably show up under removable drives. Can you see the drive VTech 733 there? If so, double click on the drive to open it and find the folder named Photos. Your picture should be there.

    Hiya,

I'm having the exact same issue and did the above steps but unfortuntly this current computer, isn't showing any signs of a removable drive file, I think somewhere along the line somthing importent has either been removed of currupted =(

Know any free downloads that may help re-install the usb ports, I've done the windows one through device manager but that hsn't helped either as the computer is reading that there all working correctly...

    Hmmm tis a pickle

    Thanks in advance

Hi Tammy, This is Rob. Have you tried making sure the camera is off before plugging it in? Try turning the camera off, then plug it in...then turn the camera on. It should show up in your removable drives. Hope this helps.

Plug the USB cord from the camera into the USB port on your computer. The computer should see the camera as an external storage device. You can then click on the storage device and open the folder and copy the photos to your computer.

Hi! my daughter lost and instruction manual for her samsung digimax 500 series. i'm trying to find out how to upload photos.

Should be able to interface with a computer via USB connection that came with the camera. Pictures on a memory card can be printed at a store with a photo lab, like CVS, using a Kodak kiosk. You can put the card in the machine, print pics or save them to a cd.
