Motorola RAZR V3 - Problem With Buttons

Hopefully someone can help me with this problem. I've had this phone for about 7 months, and today it suddenly started acting screwy! What's happening is that the phone keeps toggling the "ringer volume up" feature, as if the button were being pressed repeatedly without stopping. It's prohibiting me from being able to place calls, or do anything for that matter. What should I do about this. Thanks!

Re: Motorola RAZR V3 - Problem With Buttons

My son's phone is about 7 months old too and today when i turned it on it would not go past verizon welcome screen, no matter what. i don't use this phone, but if your volume controller is on the keyboard it could be that the keypad is going bad, which appears to be common with the razr. if it is the keypad, you can pick up a keypad flex cable for about $12 on ebay, and it's a very easy fix, but if it's just 7 months old, i'd return it under warranty, that's what i'm going to do. Let me know what you find out. I just think it's really strange that our phone suffered no damage of any kind, it just quit.

I have a RAZR V3 Cellular phone which I did not use for a couple of months. Now I am unable to switch it on (even when charging it). What could be the problem?

Ok, leaving a battery for that length of will run it down.
If you plug in the phone you could see the screen staying blank for up to 30 mins.

If the above did`t help.go to a shop where you can try a new battery.

I hoped i`ve helped.

Motorola RAZR V3 Cellular Phone Charges, then turns self off

when you dried it off you did not open it up and have the phone service so you should take it to a repair store and have it fully service or the firmware reflash but you may have to purchase a new one

Rafzr v3

the main-board is dead the best bet would be to take it back to your carrier and explain the problem and have them fix it for you or hopefully replaced it if it is a manufacturer's fault.
