The drain tube is located in the freezer section. Upon removing the pack panel, you should see a small nickel size hole at the rear bottom within a metal water catching area. Signs of a clogged drain is water at the bottom of the freezer or refrigerator cools insufficently. If your drain is clogged, you should see if in and around the drain-hole and can be become difficult at times

Ice builds up under the pull out freezer drawer then melts allowing war we to flow onto the floor

It is most likely that the defrost drain is blocked in the freezer causing the water to drain through the air vents. You will most likely have to remove the rear panel in the freezer and pour hot water in the drain trough until the drain clears up and the water drains down the drain tube.

The freezer side of my built-in side by side Jenn-Air refrigerator (JS48FSFXDA) is having the following problem: during the defrost cycle, water is dripping from the ceiling of the freezer onto door...

the defrost thermistor is your problem: it is going low (turning off) the defrost circuit far too quickly; it is a solid state version of a gas filled cold control sensor.
It "tells" the adaptive defrost controller circuit board the condition: (frost level) of the evaporator and, intitiates the defrost mullion heater timer. if it turns off to soon defrost
mullion heaters turn off and, icing occurs. I do not know; right off hand: which boards you are alluding to; however I believe you are referring to the power supply board for the

I have the freezer set at 3. There is ice forming all around the door and snow like frost on the food.

Frost buildup on food and ice around the door is due to warm air infiltration. This sounds like a door closure problem. Be sure that nothing is interfering with the drawer as it closes. Be sure to open the upper door and look down at the drawer top to see that the gasket is hitting the steel frame of the cabinet. Look all the way around the entire drawer front checking the seal.
Also open the drawer and hold it as it closes, so that if there is any food product binding it you will see it get hung open.
Good luck.

Jenn-Air JFC2089H Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator. One month ago the water tap stopped working then I noticied that the top doors to refrigerator would not reliably close like they used to. Last...

The water could have been frozen in the door and melted when your fridge warmed up.

The lower hinge on each door may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Side by side freezer door pops open

This is a problem inherent with lots of refrigerators. Side by side or top freezer. The rush of air pops the doors. You might want to adjust the pitch of the box by adjusting the front wheels to a higher level.

Water Leak at Defrost Time on Jenn-Air JCD2389G Side by Side

On the freezer side take the bottom drawer out and look at the back wall. You may get a partical view of the bottom of the cooling coils and directly below is where the water will drip from these coils. You may need a light and get your head back there to see the drain hole but it's there. This drain area could be filled with ice so, a hair dryer will do wonders. A tube with a little air pressure can unclog the drain. Pour a little water down the drain to make sure it's unclogged. Check this area often as this problem will happen again.
