Please remove all cords from the printer and then uninstall the software from the computer. Plug everything back in and hold the Start/Stop and JobReset buttons down at the same time while powering on the printer. This will reset the printer back to Factory default.
Do you need to reload firmware or drivers?
There are a few things you can do to reset it. First, try unplugging the printer from from the power socket and the computer for about ten to fifteen minutes and then plug it back up and see if the code goes away. If not, then try un-installing the printer software and re-installing the software from the cd. This should work.

-Manually installing a driver is easy, you will need to manually install a driver for various reasons, the main one is driver updates.
-Go to start>control panel and click systems. Go to the hardware tab and click device manager. Look for the device you want to update the driver for and double click it. Go to the driver tab and click on update driver.
-A screen will pop up like in the automatic install. Select "install for a list or specific location" this time and click next. Uncheck "search removable media" and check "include this location in search". Click the browse button and go to the directory where you saved your new driver. (if its on CD just search removable media and it will find it).
-Click next and it will attempt to install the driver. Once done click next and your new driver is install. A reboot might be required for the device to work properly.

Welcome to Fixya! You will need to Uninstall and Reinstall the Software. Also, Unplug all the Cables and Power from the Printer for 10 Min. while Reinstalling the Software. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
The process generally involves disconnecting the network cable from your printer, and holding and pressing buttons in a certain combination, usually involving the power button and a cancel button, to reset the factory settings and return the printer to its default mode.

I need to reload firmware version 1.05, part # G0735900F to my Ricoh AP2610N Laser Printer.
What is the procedure for reloading software? Do I turn power off machine and connect parallel or USB cable from computer to printer. Then run Ricoh driver CD and load new drivers.
