Whether or not you can tether your phone to your computer for internet use depends on your Provider. Which one are you using before I find out if your phone can even do it. You will also need a USB connection.

Cannot connect my wifi, edimax br-6225n to my Cellphone medias n-04c

Here is the manual for the router and how to set up the router t the Internet.
http://us.edimax.com/edimax/mw/cufiles/files/download/manual/transfer/Wireless/BR-6226n/BR-6225N_Manual.zip

The Cellphone is capable of using 802.11b/g/n. So it should be capable of being set-up on Wi-Fi to use the router, as long as you set up the correct SSIS and password for the router.
Here is the manual https://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/english/binary/pdf/support/trouble/manual/download/N-04C_E_All.pdf

If you have a wireless router and it is connected to the DSLor cable modem then - To connect to your wireless router, the router needsits wireless settings to be configured with the SSID, encryption key etc., alsothe wireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router and access the Internet via the DSL or cable modem.

I can't set the bsnl access point in lg gs 190?

Have you send sms to BSNL for setting up your phone?

First sms: you have to type "GPRSPRE" in the sms and send it to 53733.

Second SMS: Again you have to type mobile company name and model no. and send it to 58355
for example "SAMSUNG B3133" as text in the sms and send it to 58355.

Then you will receive the APN settings. Then you ma or may not be able to use internet in you mobile and in laptop through it.

If you can use internet in the mobile (stand alone) then attach it to laptop/desktop. Samsung device driver will be installed automatically. and you will see your mobile is detected as a modem in the phone & modem section in the control panel.

Then create a normal dialup connection in your network section. Then dial it. you will be able to connec to internet.

Samsung BD 6300 blue ray player does not connect to wireless access point. Gateway ping seems to be the issue, current gateway is on the network. Using my landlords router with his permission. Suggestions...

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right but, Is the Access Point in your apt? Or are you trying to access his router directly with your 'Player?

If you are trying to connect to an actual Access Point, try connecting to the AP from your computer either wireless or via the Ethernet cable and set it up to access his router/internet. When you can surf the Web or access his network on the computer using the AP then unplug the cable if you used it and just go into the Samsung's network settings and try again.

The only other thing I can think of is make sure his router is set to MIX, b/g/n speeds.

Connecting a wireless router to Tiscalli broadband connection

  1. USB modem is connecting a PC USB port with a DSL phone line: CANNOT be connected to a ROUTER LAN (ethernet NOT USB port).
  2. Wireless ROUTER is NOT a modem and it CANNOT connect the Internet (or WAN) LAN port to any "phone line"
  3. Connect the Router Internet (WAN) port to Modem (you need a LAN MODEM = a modem with a LAN/ETHERNET port)
  4. Be sure your internet is running before strting ROUTER configuration with Router Company CD
