How will i remove vertical green line from the desktop which is showing from few days.

If all your screens show a vertical green line, then your display is going bad and will need to be replaced.
If it is only on one screen, (like the desktop) then try changing the picture that you use for a background. My guess is that you see the line no matter what you do.

Getting vertical line in acer monitor


Apparently it is a display hardware problem. Try another monitor with the same cable and video card. Then you should try another cable. Then another video card. If vertical line doesn't show in either case, then you should replace the appropriate device\cable. If it shows anyway, then bring your monitor to service center for diagnosis.

Hello:

Try to remove the graphic card and then clean with soft clothe and then insert it again and test.

if same problem encounter, you need to replace the video card, since your pc is virus free.

considering the monitor, you need also to change the or test the monitor but its 10% that this a cause of the symptoms.

most probably the graphic card got faulty.
