When I make conference calls I have to dial the pin number with a * the phone does not recognised that I have selected it

  • perkin1 Jan 30, 2009

the * shows in the window that it has been selected but it doesnt seem to register so I dont think taking the back off will help its like its not activated

  • tbone83 Feb 06, 2009

I cannot use the keypad buttons while in conference mode. Is this on purpose, or is it something that has to be turned on and off. Example...I want to get you on a conf call with Bank of America. Once I conference you in, then call BOA, I am NOT able to hit the voice prompts. It beeps as the phone recognizes I have pushed the button, but it is not pushing it so the other end can see the signal. I hope that makes sense.

Try to press it with little bit pressure and check whether its getting recognized.or other wise you will have to open the device with a small guage screw driver and adjust that but internally as the plactic/rubber behind that button is slipped so its not getting connected properly to the circuit.

How can I make conference call or joint call fron vtech cordless phone

Hi,
To make two-party call on your Panasonic phone and ask the person on the other line to wait for a moment.
  • Check to see if your Panasonic phone has a flash key feature. If it does, press the flash key down and wait until you hear the confirmation tone. If the Panasonic phone you're using does not have a flash key, hold down the the hook switch for half a second, then release. Dial the number of the third person in your conference call. If you're inviting someone in-house to be a part of your conference call, dial their extension number instead. If you're dialing an outside line you may need to dial 9 before dialing the number.

  • Wait for the new addition to the conference call to answer and then press the Flash key again. Wait an additional two or three seconds before pressing the number three on your telephone keypad. Start your conference call. Once you've pressed the flash key followed by the number 3, as in Step 4, your conference call is established. If you wish to add additional participants simply repeat Steps 3 and 4.

Ive lost my Idect M5i user manual and need to know how to anser incoming mobile calls on it

Hi There! All mobile phones both have a top Green & Red button. For the top green button, whenever somebody is calling you, you press that. If you want to hang up press the red.
If you want to call someone, dial the number and press the green button. Just like any other mobile phone or even cordless home phones.
All the best & Good Luck!

How do I start a conference call on a Mitel 5303 Conference Phone? It states it only hosts up to 8-10 people.

I'm assuming you are using this on a 3300 ICP. In that case, the phone system is only able to do 8 party conference calls without an external Conference server.
You can dial the first number, press the flash button, dial the next number, dial the feature code (get from your vendor), repeat until you have all parties as part of the call.

The 5310 IP conference unit works much easier than this phone. A conference bridge such as Audio Web Conference with the appropriate licensing will allow for extended conference calls... it will also allow you to record the call for later "off-air" participation.

I have a binatone idect x5i twin phone. i cant dial any numbers with a '0' in it, it says number not recognised, thought problem with handset so exchanged phone but new one doing the same. local numbers...

You can check a couple of things: press MENU/OK, down to ADVANCED SET, press MENU/OK, down to RESET, press MENU/OK, enter PIN 0000, press MENU/OK, the display will show 'CONFIM?' so press MENU/OK again. This will ensure the Dial Mode is correct, if it persists you will need to contact your line provider.

Am trying to put conference on my cordless phone am not sure how can some one help me?

    Hello,

Your phone can only be put on conference when you are on a call.

    To do this,

    1. Make a call, when the call is connected,
    2. Put the call on hold, by selecting the option and selecting hold,
    3. Dial a new call, once it gets connected
    4. Go to the option and select conference,

After doing this, the call will be on conference.

    take care.

3- way conference call with tga542m?

One of the two "soft buttons" at the top of the keypad (first row of keys under the handset's display) should read Flash when you are on a call. Hit that button, you'll hear the line tone, dial the number and wait for the other person to answer. Hit Flash again and they should be joined together. If not, you may need to subscribe to Call Waiting/3-way Calling through your telephone company.
