When I make conference calls I have to dial the pin number with a * the phone does not recognised that I have selected it
Check to see if your Panasonic phone has a flash key feature. If it does, press the flash key down and wait until you hear the confirmation tone. If the Panasonic phone you're using does not have a flash key, hold down the the hook switch for half a second, then release. Dial the number of the third person in your conference call. If you're inviting someone in-house to be a part of your conference call, dial their extension number instead. If you're dialing an outside line you may need to dial 9 before dialing the number.
Wait for the new addition to the conference call to answer and then press the Flash key again. Wait an additional two or three seconds before pressing the number three on your telephone keypad. Start your conference call. Once you've pressed the flash key followed by the number 3, as in Step 4, your conference call is established. If you wish to add additional participants simply repeat Steps 3 and 4.

the * shows in the window that it has been selected but it doesnt seem to register so I dont think taking the back off will help its like its not activated
I cannot use the keypad buttons while in conference mode. Is this on purpose, or is it something that has to be turned on and off. Example...I want to get you on a conf call with Bank of America. Once I conference you in, then call BOA, I am NOT able to hit the voice prompts. It beeps as the phone recognizes I have pushed the button, but it is not pushing it so the other end can see the signal. I hope that makes sense.
