Question about Canon IXUS V2 Digital Camera
I have a 4 year old Canon DIGITAL IXUS V2 that has been working seamlessly and has never missed a beat.
Today I went to use it, no image on the LCD Display, I cannot see anything to take pictures and I cannot see anything to review pictures that have been taken. Shuuter, Flash is working.
I have taken some pictures that load into my computer, but they are completely black.
Tried movie mode, can see a small dot on the right corner of the LCD display.
I have a fully charged battery, and I have also 'reset' the camera by holding the menu button.
Any idea what I could do?
The problem is the iris is stuck.
The solution is:
1. Move the camera to TV mode(the wheel with AUTO,M,TV,...)
2. Set the exposure time to 15 seconds(15")
3. Take a picture.
4. After 7 seconds remove the batteries and put them back on.
5. Repeat the procedure until it works.
