Reyhard_23,
Click on the Asus link below. When the site opends there is a search windows in the right hand corner; http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
Type in P4S333-M & click the white arrow. In the next window that opends click on, "P4S333-M related files for download". Another windows will open & here you'll need to choose your operating system from the drop-down menu. Click the plus sign to the left of "Audio". Create a folder on your desktop & name it Audio. Download the audio driver into that folder.
This Asus board does not use the SiS 7012 chipset. From the link above you will ba able to download the manual. On page 1-6 you'll find the P4S333-M MB uses the SiS 961 controller for audio.
If you want the CD that came with the Asus MB you can pick up a copy at Asus E-store. http://estore.asus.com/shop/.

Disable the realtek from bios, then uninstall its drivers.

Reboot
and that should do the trick.

Not able to install sound device

Hi Ms.Geetha
First what you need to know what brand of sound card is ..,
This you will be able to know from Control panel -> sounds and Audio devices option
once u know the Type, U can down load it from net or
the very easiest is to take any Mother Board CD from some of ur collegues and run the
setup.exe from [sound] Folder in the CD
I think the soundcard present on ur mother board is not Avance AC'97, Xp comes with default drivers of Avance AC'97 Drivers.

this will solve ur problem...,

Realtec audio not working

If you audio driver stops responding, you can try uninstalling the audio driver then restart the computer. First, right-click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties". Next, go to the "Hardware" tab and choose "Device Manager". Now you need to look for your audio driver and find the one that lets you uninstall the driver. Do not worry about installing the new driver because the system will find the audio when you reboot your computer which is what you will do after you uninstall the driver. So, reboot and wait. If you audio works you can move on, if it does not work you should go to the Realtec website and look for the most current driver and install that one. This is a start.

Audio problems

There is a driver disk that accompanies your system. Install it and this should work fine. Here is how to install...if you want to not know.... Put the CD in the drive if you get an autorun screen click the appropriate icon [or just click the sound driver icon,if it is there]. If this did not work...try this; Right click the My computer - click properties - click hardware - device manager Then click the 'scan for hardware changes' icon.... if a new hardware found message is displayed, then click next and so on until you get it finished. Note; sometimes BIOS settings prevent audio devices from getting confugred automatically. so if the udio option is disabled in the BIOS setup you should enable it.
