You say you are downloading videos? If you are talking about YouTube videos you will need a program that can capture the streaming video that YouTube sends to you; there are dozens of programs out there that will do this, just Google "Youtube Video Download". This will give you many options to choose from. Once you have the video file captured you will have to decide how to watch it. If you plan to watch it via your DVD player you can use a DVD authoring program to convert the files into the MPEG2 format and then create the proper VOB files and burn them to a DVD. If you have a newer DVD player or, even better, a BluRay player you may be able to play the captured video files without creating a DVD. You will have to figure out what video file formats your player can read. Once you know which formats then, when you capture the Youtube files, make sure you save them in one of the supported formats. Then you will only have to burn these files to a DVD to play them, skipping all the work of converting to MPEG2 and authoring a proper DVD. If your player has a USB port you just copy the files to a USB Flash Drive to play them on any compatible player.
when you say problem with website do u mean when you are watching a video online or when you have downloaded it on to your pc, if it is online .It could be that you do not have the proper codecs installed on your browser, usually you will get a notification on your browser saying "flash player not found or missing" that means you will have to allow it to run on your browser or might have to download and install it on your machine, By doing so it should merge with your browser.
On the other hand if the video file is now on your pc , proper codecs will be missing and i would advice you to download VLC player and install it on your pc.This program plays almost every video file u will come across. You can just type downlooad vlc player on google search and you will get the link.

Whether the movies would play or not depends on the format in which it was copied to the DVD. It is good for you to know that DVDs have their specific format that they work with. Burning a media file onto a DVD disc without regarding the format would render it unable to play on any DVD player. This may be the cause of your problem. You have to take it someone who is a professional in this field and ask him to help you re-convert or dub them into the DVD disc. Hope this was helpful?
