Check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Check for reset or rst button in your remote control and push it to reset and test it in your unit. If wont work means either the receiver board or mean board is defective. You need a qualified tech. for this problem. For the mean time you can use manual button to operate the unit.

Hi, i just bought a second hand amcor air conditioner but it dosent send hot air, what can be the problem?

Air conditioners normally blow cold air, unless it has a built in heat pump. You should post the model with your questions.

How do i deal with the dripping of water from my Mitsubiishi split system from inside unit? Will putting the unit on 19 and then turning it full bore clear over condensing?

NO
the water is condensation from the humidity in the air turning to water on the cold evaporator core
normally it drips into a tray and drains away outside
if it is inside ( running down the walls it indicates
the drain hole and tube is blocked or the evaporator core is covered in gunk and holding the water up and not dripping where it is designed to
Call an accredited ac specialist shop to clean the fins and drain tube

I have a Rinnai air con unit but I am chasing the remote code - using a universal remote

These types of codes are not published on the internet (I looked all over) you need to contact Rinnai for help with this, but I don't think the Universal remote will work.

Why can't I lower my honeywell 8500 below 67 on cool?

With a two story house you have to be aware that cold air flows downwards so any cold air coming from an ac unit will flow downstairs( normally down the stairway) so unless you can close off the down stairs then the up stairs unit will be cooling downstairs as well. Ac units have a thermostat located in the air intake and it cools until the cold air has risen to that point. In effect the space above the ac unit will be hotter than the floor. Knowing how they work ,you can see that the upstairs unit will never reach the set temperature because the cold air is continually heating from the house and will never get to the top thermostat.
So your solutions are
1-- fit controls that restrict the cold air from leaving the upper floor (Doors)
2--don't run the upper ac unit unless you are living up there (waste of money
)3 place an ac in each upper room and keep the room door closed

Water is dripping on your ac from a duct? Or is the unit it self leaking Are you sure you don't need a Professional Air Duct Inspection?

A/c fan not working=thermostat is working(central a/c system)a/c

The fan on the outside unit is powered from it's 240 volt source. Check that the breaker for the outside unit is not tripped. Also, a contactor is inside the outer unit that starts the fan - it may be faulty.
