Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
I would like to connect to wireless router but have forget the password and would like to reset it
What brand/model of wireless router are you using?
Most wireless routers have a "Reset" button on the side or under. You need to press this button for a couple of seconds while the unit is on (usually 10 - 30 seconds depending on the model). This will reset the router to factory default settings.
All the best!

4. Wait approximately one minute for the router to restart.
The settings for the router have now been reset back to their default.
Do not forget the new password and keep it somewhere safe. If you forget your password, you'll be unable to access your router's settings. If you forget or lose your password, you'll need to "Perform a hardware reset on the router". This will reset the password to its default, as well as erase any and all other settings you may have changed.
1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
2. Open a web browser on the computer.
3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1
