2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Limited rear VES

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited that currently has a VES module problem (?) That said the MyGIG works and is communicating with the Jeep Dealers' computer; dvds play and there is sound from the speakers in the front of the Jeep, yet the screen in the rear remains black. The VES was on at one point, but was turned off to to see if the screen would turn on, unfortunately the VES will not turn back on. The software for my MyGIG's RER was updated from 1.220 to 2.403 yesterday and that did not fix the problem, I also had a lock pick installed with not luck. The TBS of 08-027-07 does not apply to my Jeep, it was manufactured in 7/08. Please any help is appreciated. Thank you.
