The best thing to do is to reset the router to Factory Default settings by locating the reset button on the back of the router. Use a paper clip to press the reset button, hold for about 10 secs. After the router reboots, it will be reset to the factory Default settings.
Open your web browser and type in the IP address of the router (http://192.168.0.1). Type admin in the User Name field and leave the Password blank and click ok. I hope this helps, Goodluck.

There is usually a factory reset button located in a pinhole on the back where the connections are. Turn the router on and press the reset button for 5-10 seconds. This will clear all the settings including your password. You can find the factory password in the manual or online.
You should open your browser and write the router address (typically is 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1 or depends on the producer). You will be asked for log in (normally if you did not changed it your password should be admin and username admin, if not you can refer to the manual). You should then go to security and set the password. Be aware that once you set the password you will need to enter the password for any device you want to connect to your router or to the internet
When you first setup your facebook account, you actually had to setup your Username and Password. In case you forgot your Username or password, you can always click on "I Forgot My Password" and an email will be sent to the email address you used to register on facebook containing both the username and password.
Go ahead, click on "I Forgot My Password" and fillout the form, check your email and try logging on to facebook.
There is a small hole somewhere on the back (usually). Get a needle or a staple pin it down to push the button inside the hole. Hold the button 30 seconds to reset the ruter. After the reset you'll have to set it again as it is reset to its defaul user settings (user, password etc). Be sure that you have all the necessary info - IP adress to set it up and default user and password for your ruter (this info is in the manual, a Cd or a sticher on the bottom side of the ruter)
Depending on which revision you have there are two possibilities
Default Username is: admin
Default Password is: password
Default Username is: admin
Default Password is: admin
If neither of these work - you may have setup a new username and password and forgot - on the router you will see a reset point - reset the router to factory defaults and the username and passwords above will now work.
If this helped you then please help me and vote kindly, thank you.
