LG enV2 sync to Plantronics bluetooth

I cannot get my new LG enV2 to sync to my bluetooth. I set the phone to discovery and i turned both devices off and then on again. I like the phone, but if it's not going to work with my bluetooth (which I've only had for 1 month) I'll have to bring it back :-(

My EnV2 won't connect to my Motorola bluetooth headset. It occasionally works for a few minutes, but then disconnects itself after I finished the call. Then I can"t reconnect it for a while, I have to turn the phone and headset off and wait. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. HELP! please!

I have the same issue.  I have paired 3 other Verizon phones (LG5400 and two blakcberries) w/my Toyota handsfree in the past.  I've also paired them w/my Garmin.  The Env2 won't pair with anything.

I was using my plantronics 220 for two months with my env2 and a jawbone for 6 months before that. Now all of the sudden, nither one will work. Have reset them both and attempted to rediscover them with no success.

Make sure you put the bluetooth in discovery mode, otherwise the phone wont be able to find it. I have a plantronics bluetooth and my env2 works just fine with it. Good luck.

When I make a call using the bluetooth, I can hear who I am talking to through the bluetooth, but they can't hear me?????

Make sure both devices are fully charged. Turn off your phone and disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds (this helps to reset the phone). Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Turn off your headset and carefully follow the pairing instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Discovery 925.

My iPhone 4 bluetooth won't discover the plantronics 220 Bluetooth earpiece for pairing. Both devices are on including bluetooth on my phone

On your phone, make sure bluetooth is turned on (settings, general).

While your phone is in discovery mode, turn your bluetooth device on and put it in discovery mode ***(usually you have to hold the power button for 7-10 seconds)***

Your phone will find the device, and you will be prompted to enter the devises PIN number (often 0-0-0-0). Your phone should pair with the device then.

How do I sync my replacement ear piece

When joining (or pairing) a Plantronics bluetooth headset to another device a lot depends on the other device. Assuming that you know the necessary steps of your phone, PC or other device for connecting a bluetooth device, all Plantronics headsets pretty much follow a set pairing procedure for connectivity. This one is for the Discovery 975:

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
2 Turn the earpiece on. Press and hold the call control button until the indicator flashes red/white.
3 Use the commands on your other device to locate and select your earpiece. 9xx Plantronics.
4 If prompted for the PIN code or Passkey, enter 0000.

Pairing is successful when the indicator on your earpiece flashes white.

Note If your phone supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to enter a PIN code or Passkey.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

How do I sync my old plantronics 230 with my new phone?

When you turn the bluetooth on, just hold the call control button until the light flashes red and blue, which means it's in discovery mode. In the 120 seconds that it is in this mode, search for the device on your phone, and it should show up for you to connect.

EnV2 will not pair with plantronic explorer 220

Discovery is bluetooth mode if i'm not mistaken.

The other way is via a usb cable using the mass storage device.

As long as you have the usb modem drivers for the EnV2 downloaded in your computer, the mass storage device in your cell phone will find them and away you go.

How to connect the LG Voyager - plantronics discovery 925?

From all my research in the past few days (1-11 March 2010) I have found out that bluetooth hands free via bluetooth is not possible with the Motorola Droid or the Eris Droid. The problem is with the Google android operating system not your bluetooth device. After calling Motorola and Verizon tech support, both say that "They are working on it." I really hope they update/fix their os because I really want to buy a couple of their phones. They said to wait until 31 March 2010. Hopefully they will get their act together.
