Compaq Deskpro ENS P866 512 RAM 36GB HDD - Issues with Streaming.

LOL 512MB is mighty low for streaming movies. And a 36GB Hard Drive is low too. Have you checked to see how much space you have left on the hard drive? Click Start/My Computer and then Right Click on the Local Disk C Drive and select Properties. It will show you a Pie Chart of how much space you've used and how much is free. I bet your disk space is pretty low.

Do you know about computer GB free disk space

Yes. you have 221 gb available disk storage left. 5 gb will hardly make a dent in that.

You can right click on the computer icon and then select properties to view a pie chart representation of available space if that makes it easier for you.

I get alot of program not responding, and have to end program, and wait a long time for it to go off,and lose my browser quite often.I have a Dell desktop Dimension 8110 PC

This could be a lot of things. We'll start at the top. First we'll check your hard drive capacity. Open my computer=> right click properties. You'll see a pie chart there showing hard drive capacity and amount used. make sure you have at least 80% free space. While you are there click on disk clean up. When the window with the list appears, (takes a moment) check all boxes except for the last 2 then click ok. we'll stop there, let me know if there is any improvement.

If the part number on the chipset is R6793-XX or CX11252-11 or both CX11252-15 and CX20493-XX, then the modem is a HSF modem.

Here the link for HSF Generic Modem Drivers

I am getting a message that my drive d has low disk space available please help me..

If you're D:\ is a hard drive, you can delete non needed data to free up hard drive space. At today prices for hard drives you might consider buying a larger size drive. Like this drive. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=117008
This is a PATA/IDE drive. Seagate warrants their drives for five years. You will not run out of drive space any time soon.
Windows XP description of low disk space. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285107
If you hard disk is a serial ATA SATA drive you can increase its size by upgrading to this drive. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=117007

I can't get rid of the big red cross , it says that i need to fix the problem on pc tune up of getting rid of outdated internet temp files although every time i run the scan it says no problems detected

If you go into my computer folder and right click on your hard drive there will be an option at the bottom of the drop down box for properties. Click on properties and when the box comes up there will be a pie chart explaining how much of the hard drive you have used and how much is left. To the right of the pie chart there is an option for disk cleanup. Select this option and after a while depending on how fast your computer is (sometimes as much as 5 mins or so) there will be a list of files that can be cleaned. One of the folders is marked temporary internet files. Select this with the tick box along with compress old files and click the ok button and away you go. This can also take a while because of the amount of files you have. Hope this helps.
