do you have a driver cd for the camcorder and a USB cable to connect it to your pc?

First step is to install drivers for your device if there was no cd with it. Try connecting it to your pc. What happens? does windows detect it and install it sucess fully or does it complain?

If the camcorder is connected and seems to be working, no error popups etc come up.
Open my computer and see if you see a removeable storage device. If your uncertain unplug the camera from your pc to see witch drive disapears, if noting happens press f5. Then plug it back in and take notice on witch device comes up.

The one that appeared is your cameras memory, double click on it to open the drive. You might need to browse trought a few folders but your videofiles are there.

Did you try a web search and see what comes up for this model ?

i needed drivers for a camera i bough from a travelling arab salesman but i couldnt find one but i ended up downloading the drivers for a well known make for free and they worked with my camera in fact i used it for a web cam till my grandson bought me a tiny thing for my birthday .

A common problem is battery drain. This is caused by a leaky component on the circuit board. Replacing the board is the only fix.

Don't bother to send it to Aiptek for repair.

I sent them my Pencam 1.3SD camera. They kept it for 2 months. Every time I sent a email asking if they had repaired it, the email reply was always the same.....
