Stock vcore voltage for A8-3850 says 1.2750v in BIOS Current vcore hovers around 1.350 Could not find option to adjust vcore in BIOS, only saw option for NB and SB voltage adjustments. After adjusting voltage, nothing changed. The only thing that effected the temp at all was lowering the multiplier from 29 to 24 with a Base Clock of 100mHz. Research and google-ing returned nothing. Any suggestions?

some pentiums are locked at the set speed but there are no jumpers you have to alter the settings are in the bios eg the timing and there may be step ups to increase the processor speed, but remember you get far faster response times by fitting more memory as overclocking can cause overheating and crashes.

Roberto,
Well I can say its a socket 478 P4 and you can probably only upgrade to about a 2.4Ghz P4 , probably not much of an upgrade, better to build or buy a new PC for around $500-$600

Yes, you can buy DDR400, it will be underclocked by the motherboard to DDR266. If you want some extra performance you can go in the BIOS and lower the timings one unit.
Yes, they will work, but not very fast. They should be used only as a last option.
