Wireless signal on sound card is interfering with bluetooth mouse

I just bought a new Creative Labes Blaster Notebook Care for the expresscard slot.  I love the quality but I have noticed that my bluetooth mouse has been slightly laggy.  I unplugged the card and my mouse worked fine.
I wanted to know if there was a way to turn the wireless transmitter on the card off until I actually need to use it (which may be never) or if I just have to tough it out, unplug the card, or get a usb mouse?

I couldn't find anything in device manager that controls the wireless function on the sound card.  I know creative added so that you could have a wireless music network and such, but it's still interfering with my bluetooth mouse.

Unless theres a path to find the actual pci expresscard device and turn it off from there, even thought I have no idea where that would be in manager.

if you cant find it change the resources for your mouse instead in device manager.

note if youre card isnt plugged in it wont show in device manager.

you should be able to change resources for either if they are conflicting if it shows no conflicts somewhere in the soundcard properties it should show wireless properties.

another way is to uninstall software for this card and reinstall taking note of what and where things are being installed and options .I would assume that the wireless part is optional and neednt be installed.

Need to purchase and install a sound card for MD26 laptop

Here are a list of sound cards you can add to your laptop. Make sure it says ExpressCard Type 54 and it will be compatible. Also check for your operating System (I.E. Windows 7) compatibility.

How to Install a ExpressCards into your laptop

When we enjoy a weekedn with our family and shoot many pictures. We want to store it in our laptop battery and share with any other friends with email. We use the ExpressCard to connect the camera memory card with the laptop. Also ExpressCard plug-in hardware available includes TV tuners, mobile broadband cards, FireWire 800 (1394B), Serial ATA external disk drives, solid-state drives, wireless network interface cards, TV tuner card common access card (CAC) reader and soundcards. Media remote control units are available that use the ExpressCard slot to store and recharge battery4.us. So we must at least know how to remove and install a ExpressCards.
How to remove an ExpressCard or Blank
Inface removing an ExpressCard is a very easy thing. You can complete it only by two steps:
1.Press the card or blank to remove it from its slot.
2.Save a blank to use when no ExpressCard is installed in a slot. Blanks protect unused slots from dust and other particles.

How to install an ExpressCard or Blank

You can install Express Card while the computer is running. The computer automatically recognizes the card.
ExpressCards are generally marked with a symbol (like a triangle or arrow) or specify a label, which end in the slot to connect. The cards are keyed to prevent incorrect insertion. If the map orientation is unclear, consult the documentation that came with the card.

To install an ExpressCard:

Keep the card shows the top of the card facing up.

Insert the card into the slot until the card is fully engaged in the port.

If you encounter too much resistance, no force. Check the card orientation and try again.

The computer recognizes the ExpressCard and automatically loads the appropriate device driver. If the setup program tells you to load the drivers from the manufacturer to use the media that came with the Express card.

I wanna know whether aspire 4310 have inbuilt blootooth hardware available . if so where i can find the driver dowloads for xp

To find out, access the manufacturer's web-site:

http://support.acer.com/drivers_download.aspx

Select NOTEBOOK
Select ASPIRE
Select ASPIRE 4315
Select Document
Download the User Guide (8Mbyte).
Select Drivers
Download the device-drivers for XP or VISTA (none are available/needed for Windows 7).

Your "4315" computer has an "ExpressCard" slot,
and you could buy a BlueTooth card that fits into this slot.

The ExpressCard is the newest version of the PC Card. It is a smaller and faster
interface that further enhances the usability and expandability of your computer.
ExpressCards support a vast number of expansion options, including flash
memory card adapters, TV-tuners, Bluetooth connectivity and IEEE 1394B
adapters.

Just a question, I have a slot inside my laptop next to my wireless network card. This slot has a similar connection and mount. Is this for an additional wireless card or can I add something else in there?...

Wont take another wireless card, some people actually will have the extra card slot for a specialized card that you can use a phone from your computer. Two wirelesscards on the same computer would cancel each other out. From my rememberance about the two slots, is that buisness needs requested two slots, one for the wireless card and the second for the specialized card so the computer can be used as a overly large cell phone, or used by techs in the field to hook up ghost programs and dianostic tools.

Hi i want to install grafics card in my laptop

do you want to install the driver for the card that is already in the Laptop?

Or are you looking to install a new hardware graphics card??
Because this is close to impossible for laptops.

Do you have an expresscard slot? It might be possible to get a card for something like that.
Its not a good idea but Asus introduced a graphics card for laptop expresscard slots.

I dont know what it costs (im sure tho that its way too much)
its called ASUS XG Station and you will be able to plug in a pci-Express graphics card.

The problem is: The Expresscard slot is only 1/16th as fast as the starndard PCI-e graphics port in a desktop computer. so plugging in a nice card will not result in great performance unfortunately.

as I said its possible, but highly inefficient, wouldnt recommend it.

Wireless Card will not fit in slot

First, make sure that the type of card that you bought is compatible with the slot. Your presario can use Type I or II standard PC or PCMCIA cards. If the linksys adapter that you bought is not a PC/PCMCIA card, rather an ExpressCard, it really won't fit.
