Amp is making a whining or howling type sound

Sounds like Ignition system interference...Does whinning sound correspond with the accelerator? Make sure ground is isolated....and power is seperate from other circuits. ( ie; straight to battery with an in line fuse installed in it.)

I have a 98 gmc jimmy the 4x4 is not working it has the push button on the dash and when you put it in 4x4 the lights work but it dont go into 4x4

Sounds like the transfer case motor is going out or bad, i know the trucks have a 4x4 engagement motor on the front differential which engages the front axles. i am not sure how yours is setup, you will have one or the other.

Siren nosie from engine

sounds like a power steering issue. They whine when the fluid is low. Check your fluid level. If it is low, you have a power steering leak. If its not that, describe the sound a little more and I'll try again.

I recently hooked up a new kenwood deck put new front and back speakers in. I hooked up a 1200 watt hifonics amp about to plug in my 2 15 inch rockford fosgate speakers rfz1412 and they dont play. All the...

Ok, so I am assuming that the other speakers are working, and it's just the subs that are not, right? If this is the case, start from the source. Make sure the RCA cables are plugged in and not crimped anywhere. Then to the amp, Did you check the gain levels on your amp. That is the knob next to the RCA input on the amp. Also, check the wiring to the subs. Make sure all your + are goinig to +. Sometimes in the "heat" of a good install, you just lose track of those things. When in doubt. Undo all your wiring and start from scratch. Good luck.

My dryer heats and dries, but when i open the door the drum doesn't stop nor does the light come on. We've changed the bulb...not the problem with the light. Also was squeekin quite a bit..now...

as far as the drum not stopping when door is opened that will be a bad door switch
the noise could be anything from a drum support roller to a blower wheel, the bearing on the motor, the rear drum bearing or even something such asa coin caught between the drum felt seal and the drum
nosies a hard to diagnose online since they dont sound the same in written form

2002 ford Taurus power streeing

You shouldn't need to replace 2 pumps,or even one. It shouldn't whine, where you hear it, driving.
I would change the steering rack, flush the cooler and pump. Still got a whine ,your getting bad rebuilt pumps

I have one 12inch 1000 watt mtx sub what size amp should i buy

Hello taona80,

If the 1,000 watts is RMS, I'd recommend an amp in the 750-1,000 watt RMS range, perhaps like the Alpine MRP-M1000 or Rockford-Fosgate T1000bd. If the 1,000 watts is peak power, the subs continuous (RMS) power handling is much lower, probably 300-400 watts. In that case, I'd recommend the Alpine MRP-M500 or Rockford-Fosgate T500-1bd.
