Question about Mitsubishi WD-57734 57" HDTV
I WAS WATCHING TV ON MY MITSUBISHI DLP AND HEARD A LOUD POP NOISE AND THE TV DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. IS IT THE LAMP?
Following up on my Feb 7 post. My new lamp arrived, and I replaced it and it works great. The old lamp had many shards of glass come out of it. It was tore up. I saved some money buy purchasing just the lamp and not the cartridge. It's a little bit more work to take apart, but saves money. Mitsubishi wanted $289 for the lamp replacement kit. I got a lamp for $114. TV is working just fine now!
