Will not come on only the blue navigator button light works

Try connecting it to your computer. Once here, go to My Computer, and right click on the device. Scout for "Format Device" or something similar. If you don't see it, scout around. Try opening the device and looking there. This deletes the device and resets everything.

It will not turn on any longer

the problem lies within the mp3 all you got to do is fisrt.becarefull and take it apart once you have the other layer taken off then take the back off then at te top where the power button was there should be a lil square take something small and push in the lil square and it should come on the reason it wont cut on any more is due to the power button. the lil hole at the end of it is missing the part that normally pushes inside the square button is missing you will have to figure something from there to turn it on.i had to rig mines and your welcome.for further information you can call me at 771-3337

Nextar MA 166 MP3 Won't Charge

You have to install the software for the mp3 player BEFORE connecting the mp3 player to the computer, or else Windows XP will override the native drivers. That particular Nextar is not compatible with Windows Vista, so you may have a problem if you have a newer computer.

Wont turn on

did you try pushing the little button on the side towards the on positition. It should be in the middle by default. If you push the button down, it locks the songs so they can't accidentally be deleterd. But to turn it on you need to push the button up and quickly let it go. Don't hold it or it will turn off again. Then to turn it off when you are done you push that button again and hold for about 1 second. I hope this helps. You didn't say if you tried that so I am assuming you didn't.

Stuck in language mode

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out:
