Question about Mastercool 67471 Evaporative Cooler Air Conditioner
I have a Bonaire Evaporative cooling system. We had a power failure that lasted 2 seconds and now the Vulcan LCD unit doesn't work. I called up about this a very long time ago and got the answer but have forgotten the solution. From what I remember, i had to reset something. I really can not remember. Can somebody help please..... I am boiling...
Unplug the unit or turn off the breaker to the unit for at least 30 seconds. If this reset does not work, the electronics may be damaged and need a repair person.

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. Please give me a positive rating. Thank you.

You should have a dedicated line that feeds the equipment power look at your main electrical panel or search around your equipment for a pull out disconnect switch or sometimes they will wire it to a light switch. by shutting down the main power and turning it back on it should reset anything.

The problem may be with the drainpump not functioning properly. They sometimes clog up with scale. Easy to remove and clean by opening up the unit. Some units also have an alarm function when the cell pads need replacing. Again this one would be able to see visually. They simply slide out, you would have to locate a supplier and just buy four cellpads.

could be the float valve is stuck or has some object blocking it so it cant cut off the water flow..( adjusting the float hight, or cleaning will solve this) or could be the plastic inserts that carry the pads are cracked & allowing water to escape the unit.( replace the pad carrier)..
If your going up on the roof to fix it... you may as well get a onedose cartridge from the hardware shop & put that in the tank whilest your up there...
