Creative Zen V Plus absolutely dead!

Did this power/reset thing earlier today, thought it was working. Came back later and it was back to no lights, absolutely dead, even after staying plugged into puter for several hours. Tried power/reset thing again, & now THAT doesn't even work. PLEASE HELP!!
