Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
The right half of my screen is dark although there appears to be a backlight. The left half of the screen displays all the information in a compressed form. When I connect the computer to an external monitor the full screen is displayed. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Sorry to say, I had a similar problem except my screen was upper/lower not left/right. If the drivers and hardware appear fine then it is the screen or connection to the screen. If under warranty send it in now! If not you may need to buy a replacement screen. Shop around for prices AND other solutions- (not being there to give it hands-on care) I may be mistaken.
