The convergence issue is caused by FL231, DL231 and CL230 the following link has the parts under the RCA category plus they help explain the repair procedure.

RCA r52wm24 projection hdtv. Colors of tv not aligning images look like they are in 3d without glasses.

this is called convergence.the first step in diagnoseing this set is to go into customer menu under the setup option. DO you have the donvergence listed in this menu. if you dont read this http://www.fixya.com/support/r1062030-fl231_problem_convergence_not_in. if you do then try using autoconvergence and manual options in this menu. if it doesnt work then more than likely you will have some faulty components in the convergence cuircit. let me know and ill seel if i can help more

Convergance is off

I have an RCA 52” HDTV Model R52WM24 the other day it developed a convergence problem (The picture took on a 3D effect and it the screen had an hour glass type of shape)

This appears to be a common problem or a pattern failure.
I wanted to confirm that I did find the fuse p/n FL231 to be blown.
I think it said the RCA part # is 259213 and it is a 400 ma, 125V fuse, Looks like a square capacitor by the fly back xfmr.

I bought a generic part from Digi Key and it seems to be the identical replacement part to the fuse that was in the circuit.

The Digi-Key part is part # WK4440BK-ND (99 CENTS EACH).
THIS IS A 125V, 400 MA ( 0.4 A FUSE). Digi Key PHONE # IS 1-800-344-4539

I am watching the TV right now for last 3 hours and it seems to be a good fix.
The fly back transformer solder connections looked good but it is recommended to re solder these part ( so I did).

Good luck

Convergence menu not available on my RCA HDTV. Model R52WH74YX58

Itsalmost that simple, But you will need to replace the FL231, DL231 and CP230 and that should take care of your problem. You can get the replacement parts at the following link under their RCA Parts category. The total cost is around 13.00 and shipping is free and they even send detailed instructions with pictures that show how to do the repair which is very easy.

Convergance

push the menu button - leftmost button on front of the tv. use the arrows on the ch and vol buttons to navigate the menus. go to the bottom item on the menu select it select autoconvergence you will however likely have to do manual blue and red convergence because often auto is not enough. see how that does.

if u press menu on remote control and scroll down to set up , press ok and see convergance as an option choose it and adjust convergance.(lines up your colors) if u do this and convergance does not even show on your menu at all anywhere! like mine, then u have an open fuse for convergance board. mine is going to shop for this today.
