Re: videos not working

Are you converting movies from You Tube or and other Flash Videos? If so, they wont work.

I want to put a movie on dvd onto my sansa mp3 player, and i'm using the pocketdvd wizard. What file ending should i use before i run it through the sansa media converter?

As far as I know, sansa mp3 player supports playing video in the following formats: AVI、WMV、MOV、MP4、MKV、OGM、DV. Therefore, you can convert your movies into any video format above. There are a lot of such kind of converters, such as Wondershare Video Converter.
Hope that helps.

I have this player and it drives me crazy, too.

I don't know if this will help delete what you don't want but plug the sandisk into your computer and open to view the contents. when you see the list of folders, at the top click on tools--then folder options--then view make sure "show hidden files and folders" is checked. click ok. then if you can see the folder you want to delete, highlight it and press the delete key on your keyboard. (if you want to save it, copy it to your hard drive instead). to put on a cd this may be a roundabout way but is fairly simple. put the cd in the computer, using windows media player rip it and save songs in a folder on the hard drive. save as mp3 (or wma should work, too.) you can read on the net how to do this. once the songs are in the folder, close media play. go to the folder and the hard drive and copy it to the sandisk . you can see on your computer if it is there. unplug from the computer and hopefully you can find it and play the songs. good luck!

Cant get videos to play on sansa fuze 2g mp3

I had this problem my self, but here is the solution.
The sansa is really picky about Movies first you need to make sure you have the right File, I've only been able to get AVI to play on the fuze second, go on to SanDisk's web page and get the Firmware update here
There is also a converter that is offered by SanDisk that is rather handy.
hope this helped

Regarding video

You must use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer videos. If the video is DRM-protected (many of Real's movies are), it may not actually convert. But if the video is DRM-free, then the Sansa Media Converter will perform the conversion and load the video onto the player. The Sansa Media Converter may or may not recognize certain file formats, so you may need to download an additional program such as Riva FLV Encoder to convert the Real video to AVI format first - then the Sansa Media Converter will recognize the file.
