How to reattach driver side side mirror to car

there is no limit to damage
is it dmaged?
if not, the side card must come off.
remove knobs, remove side cards on door, and see mounts.

you tube has like 1000 of vids showing card romoval, most
cars are same ,
my suz, you pull from bottom up, pop, pop, goes the friction rivets.
then the rag trick for the knob (manual windows) clip
if electric, see screws, some are hidden.
my 04 has hidden screws behind the door lever plate.
and in door arm rest.
you could just RTM.

I need to put the top vent back together electric fry pan

Fix #1
These are usually riveted on. If you can find a small enough aluminum pop rivet (most lids are aluminum), you could pin it back together with that. The tricky part is ensuring that the rivet allows the vent to rotate between the opened and closed positions. I suggest cutting out two pieces of non-corrugated cardboard from a cereal box and punching out a hole in each the same diameter as the rivet. Use one on each side of the lid for a washer for the rivet. Include an aluminum washer for the tail end of the rivet. Your parts stack from the inside of the lid should be rivet (head end), cardboard washer, vent piece, lid, cardboard washer, metal washer. The pop rivet will be compressed against the metal washer on the outside when you operate the riveting tool. I suggest having the head on the inside of the lid because it will be easier to clean.

After you compress the rivet, tear the cardboard washers out. The vent should now pivot correctly.

Fix # 2
Use a 2-56 x 1/4 stainless steel screw (or similar metric size) and two stainless steel nuts. Assemble the vent to the lid using the screw and one of the nuts. Tighten the nut only until it starts to drag on the vent, then back it off slightly. Next, put the other nut on. Hold the first nut in place and tighten the second nut down onto it to lock it in place on the screw. The vent should still turn freely, but the nuts won't come off without tools if you did it properly.

Do not use plated or plain steel hardware. These will contaminate your food.

Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.

For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

Lid Knob

Contact manufactuer for a replacement handle. You should find the toll free number (or) website in the users manual. If you no longer have the manual type in www."the manufactuer".com

Your crock pot may still be under warranty (or) they may even send you the handle free of charge, who knows

Lid Knob

Just called the number (found on the web) for the Wal Mart Model 106661 of this and they are sending me a form to replace the base (with the heating element in it). Also have the same problem with the lid handle. Asked them about getting a new handle and they said I could order an entire new lid. A ceramic cabinet knob with the SS screw and washers sounds like a better solution then buying a new lid. Info date 1/21/08

Broken knob

you can probably get a substitute knob from radio shack - replacement knobs. it may not have the markings you desire but at least you'll have a knob you can rotate.

Replacement Knobs for the Rival Slow cooker

I HAD the problem with the handle snapping off the lid of my oval 6qt lid - until I spent 10 minutes and $2 in the cabinet hardware section of Home Depot. Now I have a stylish silver & white handle on my crock pot lid. The bolt and grommet were re-used, several little tiny o-rings were added as spacers, along with a drop of Loc-tite.
