Its my first time using Microsoft Remote Desktop and for some reason, I cant log in to my user account. Its giving me an error ...
"INVALID USERNAME OR PASSWORD".
How can that be since I use that "administrator" account and password all the time? It appears that i'm connected since I could see the login screen and my account name, it also displays the "Windows Vista Business" (the OS for the PC that i'm trying to connect to) at the bottom part of the screen.
I did the port forwarding 3389 TCP/UDP definitions, allowed RDC on norton firewall settings.... am i missing something ???

I am trying to convert Tivo movie files and burn them to CDs. Roxio Creator 10 let's me edit the files -- take out commercials, etc. -- but when I try to burn the resulting files to a DVD I get a Windows 7 message that the program has stopped working and will close. This happens every time I try to burn a converted Tivo file. Jack

Forced to use an old verizon v3c for a little while. I can't tolerate it if I can't add my own ringtones. Can anybody walk me thru a hack or whatever I need to do to make it happen?

I bought a laptop a few months ago to do work remotely (from home). MSO Vista's remote desktop worked fine until a week ago and then no longer finds my work computer. Window pops up saying remote desktop cannot verify the identity of the computer because either the remote computer is running a version of windows that is earlier than WIN Vista, or the remote computer is configured to support only the IDP layer. Nothing changed on either end (remote computer runs WIN XP), so I'm stuck. What do I do, please? Thanks!
