Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27062 Top Load Washer
It started when you put a load in and try to start the washer it would not turn on, so I stood there for a while starting and stopping until it turned on. Changed wash cycle by itself, keep on beeping and then it started a noise. Had the service repairman here 3 times to tell me what the problem was and 2 times for him to replace a part. So far have over $800.00 in labor and parts. Now waiting for the 3rd part to be put in so it will put the cost over $1000.00. Thanks heaven we took the warranty protection plan out on this machine. Everytime the repairman called in to their headquarter parts place the person on the other end always tell them that it wasn't the the computer part where the buttons are. They replaced another computer part and then a sensor part on the bottom. Now I have the computer part finally that the repairman said was the problem, but waiting for them to come. They will send a person who lives 1 to 1 1/2 hours away only on Monday and Wednesday when there are service people that lives 15 to 25 minutes away to fix the machine who could come on Saturday, but then don't listen to him when he calls in for the parts. For the price that they charge for parts and labor they should have just given me a new washer. Every time a service person comes I have to take off of work because you never know what time they are coming and I was told that they will only wait 10 minutes. Well, I work and can't always take off right away when they call. What kind of service is this?
I will NOT recommend of buying any appliances from Sears because of getting service on your appliance and because of the customer service people that you talk to. Will tell people NOT to buy Sears appliances.

i also work for sears and know exactly what you are having to deal with.
you must live outside of the "big" city and thats why you only get service on the days offered.
what i can suggest to you, is, to demand that they service you on saturday. they will do this but only if you complain.
we are made to call into the service line, STAC for any control board problem and we have no choice on this.
most techs can tell you whats wrong, but sears causes us to do what "they" want us to do.
i would bet that you have a stuck key pad on the touch pad. you need to have them replace the "user interface" it does happen and will fix your problem.
sorry but we have to go by our rules. you can make them do what you want, but you have to get vocal and let them know your not going to keep waiting for a proper repair.
