I recently cracked the lcd screen on my KG800. I replaced the lcd panel & all I could get was a white screen. Someone suggested that I change the ribbon/flex cable, so I did. I still have a white screen. Any ideas?

I had exactly the same problem and it turned up that the supposedly 'brand new' screen from ebay was faulty, tried it on another fully working phone. So I purchased another one from a local store & voila it was all fine. I suggest that you try another working screen.

it had water damage and fried the t-con board and I replaced it. after replacing it , I got a split screen, then noticed there was mold I would guess, on the other end of the ribbon, cleaned with wd 40, and soft brush, now almost whit screen
