Nikon SB800 Flash

I have 2- SB800 Flashes. It doesn't matter which one I set to Master and Remote, there is a one second delay before the remote flash fires after the Master.
Has anyone had this problem before?

I did some testing and switched the remote unit to SU-4.
Sure enough the Master Flash trigger the second Remote SB800 Flash in SU-4 Mode.
I then switched it to Remote Mode and again the Master fired the second flash without the second delay that I have been getting for over a week!
Hope this helps someone.
