Re: When i try 2 log on (sing in) I get.
Yeah, the old DNAS communication error. What you need to do first is make sure you're connected to a working internet connection. If you are, then make sure your internet box is giving good connection. If also yes after that then what you need to do is usually during games you can test your internet connection first. If you have a computer handy, then hook the internet up to that to set up the connection. Sometimes on my internet it won't read it because it's loading. So hook up the internet cable to a computer, logon onto yahoo or something...then plug it in the PS3 and see if it helps.

As the name implies this is a DNS error. Try replacing the default DNS with IP addresses from the OpenDNS project, which supplies free DNS. Here are a couple to try: 126.96.36.199 or/and 188.8.131.52
The "DNS error 80710102" is an error displayed on the Sony Playstation
when attempting to connect to the Internet. It's a known problem for
Playstation users, but the answer is to disable universal plug-n-play
on the router.
Step1 Open a browser window and enter the router's IP address into the navigation bar. For most routers, the default IP address is 192.168.1.1. Step 2 Enter the username and password used to access the router. Press "OK" and the console application will be shown in the browser window. Step 3 Click the "Password" tab. The UPnP settings are located in the same window as the router's password settings. Step 4 Select "Disable" from the box labeled "UPnP" and click the "Save" button. Close the router's console window. Start the Playstation machine and connect to the Internet.
see i hav the same prob try putting this in
primary dns 184.108.40.206
secondary dns 220.127.116.11
ip address 192.168.1.45
if that dont work people say u should unplug your router 4 a couple of minutes then plug it back in
