Hey, seen that you the Dr when it comes to these type of things was wondering if could help me with my problem please.
I have had this upright freezer Magic Chef brand for about 4 years,
I was hearing some clicking every 15-30 min from it & next thing I knew it was defrosted. If you can please help me out.

That clicking sound is your compressor tightening up(clixon switching on and off.). Pull the freezer out and feel the compressor. If very hot and not running, there is your problem.

I understand that you are searching for what type of freon is used in your Frigidaire freezer, FFU14F5HW. Based off of that model the freon would be 134A. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt
