I have similar problem, but when I unscrew what I think is the filter at the bottom right, there is lot of water coming out.

Is that normal? What shall I do?

    Thanks in advance!

Your model of washer dryer is fittted with a self cleaning pump, and may not have a filter fitted.
To check if it has, remove lower plinth at bottom of m/c, and if there is a plastic panel there ,remove that as well.
If there is a filter fitted, you will see it at the bottom right front, it has a round cover, unscrew anti clockwise, remove and clean filter.
Pleas leave a fixya rating if you consider my solution appropiate to your query.
Thankyou.

Is there a filter on a indesit wdg1095w

The lint filters on washing machines over the past 10+ years are mounted unter the tub. When the spin cycle starts, the water drains out of the tub, through the filter to clean it out/off, and out through the drain hose.

Wd12x wachine machine. Washes clothes okay but does not drain. It stops and the dial keeps going round. If the door is opened, all water flows out. I think there may be a problem with the filetr but not...

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. CHECK AND CLEAN THE DRAIN FILTER. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

Replacing the pump on a Bosch machine, please check this link for tips:

My WD 12X machine is not drying the clothes. They get hot but not dry. Is there a filter somewhere that needs to be cleaned?

Presuming that this is an Indesit WD12X.

Yes, there is a filter at the bottom left of the machine (It can be clearly seen in the illistration on Page 14 of the manual, figure 6).

If you don't have a manual, you can download a PDF of it here:
http://www.indesit.co.uk/indesit/_pdf/manuals/19503326500_UK-USA-AUS.pdf

It's highly likely that the water isn't getting evacuated because the filter is blocked and so there is just too much water to dry. Unscrew the filter, clean and replace. I'm amazed to discover that (so far as I can see) The manual never even mentions the filter! Well done Indesit

Hi There My Indesit washer/dryer isn't draining the water on the washing cycle. Please let me know a solution. Kind Regards Phillipa

Hi Phillipa,
Have you cleaned the filter on the machine ? If this is clean, there is probably a problem with the pump or if the drain hose is connected to the drain outlet of a sink there may be a blockage here.

Washing machine won't drain

Sounds like the pump is not working, or the filter is blocked.
If there is a removable bottom front panel of washer, remove this and the filter should be located behind it. Remove and clean.

Thanks.

Indesit w93 washing machine fills with water but doesn't start washing

Hi there. I have an old model, the indesit WM12. Never counted the flashing light (yours was 10) but my dial started clicking constantly at the drain part. I called Idesit and they told me it was a blockage in the filter.
The filter they speak of it located, on mine, at the front of the machine at the very bottom on the right. It is a black dial about 3 - 4 inches in diameter. Unscrew that anti-clockwise (a real pain because so much water comes out. My wife and I unscrewed it, filled a baking tray with water, screwed it back up, emptied / substituted tray then same all over again - until empty. Though putting it on drain again and again helped at same time). When I pulled out the filter found a 'colour catcher' sheet in it. We used them first time ever the other day. Removed that, gave filter a wee clean and, hey presto, all is working again. Hope that helps. Jim
