Question about Memory Cards & USB Flash Drives

1 Answer

I have a Sony Cybershot S750 camera and I just got the Sony ProDuo 8GB memory stick, when I put it into the camera, the camera just freezes up and I can't do anything or access anything. The screen displays: access. I don't know what to do, is there something wrong with the stick or do I have to do something to the camera? Thanks

My Sony memory stick pro duo magic gate mark 2 is not shows images on pc but in my camera, but the photos are visible on Sony cybershot camera

Some Sony Cybershot camera's have a small amount of memory built into the camera. Double check that the camera is set to put the pictures onto the memory stick.
If the camera is set up correctly, the memory stick may not be formatted correctly for your computer. If at all possible, connect the camera to your computer directly with the USB cable that should have come with it.

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

The card has failed, the really is no way to recover your pictures. In the future, this card are for temp use only, and you should back them up. a static charge from your finger, can erase them

I formatted a 16GB sony produo mem stick on my laptop using Win XP II. Now my computer or camera or PSP can't detect the card

Put the card back in the computer and format it using FAT (not NTFS) format. In the format menu, you'll see the file system pull down option, choose FAT and format again.

Plug the duo card into adapter labels need to face same direction. Plug adapter into camera or other device label facing you. Once card is installed make sure you format it for the device.
