Laser Mouse stop working after pressing connect button on bottom

My son hooked the Mouse up for me. He said it was also rechargeable. I was looking for how to connect it to recharge if needed and saw the ''connect'' button on the bottom and pressed it. Now it does not work at all. My dumb luck. Now, how to fix it? Any help out there, thanks.

That was the reset button, press that as you press the button on the USB (usually large and flashing) device at the same time. When you press both the mouse will reset.

I am still learning about this mouse since there were ZERO directions.
There is a button on the Dongle and the bottom of the mouse that apparently have to be pressed at the same time to activate it. As well, the batteries don't last very long. Some say you can use rechargeable batteries; recharge batteries with USB cord plugged in. I haven't discovered what the button below the scroll button does..Good luck.

The wireless mouse works but the laser 5000

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.

Problem with my mouse

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Mouse stopped working

If you haven't done this, turn the mouse over and press the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. After you replace batteries it sometimes requires this to be done. If that didn't work, first press the receiver button, then the mouse reset/connect button.
Hope this helps. Bud

Flahsing Red Light

Now what you have to do is look for a reset button on your mouse and your wireless mouse signal receiver.
When the receiver and mouse both are on press the reset button on both of them one by one.
This should solve the problem.
