Question about Hoover AAA160 Front Load Washer
Having read all the solutions about clearing the filter and ensuring that the pipes are clear, I am still getting the error 3. The pipes have been removed and cleaned, both from drum to pump and from pump to waste. On a wash cycle all water is pumped out, but error 3 comes up after 3 mins and so the spin cycle will not start. Even emtied the pump completely of water through the filter access and used the machine on a spin cycle and still get error 3. Has any one any technical details or cct diagrams as to what triggers the error 3 condition? Many thanks in advance for any help given.
If you are certain that all pipes are clear, then you may wish to check the pressure pot & pressure switch ( & small hose joining the two as this could be telling lies to the program unit. If the machine is emptying but the switch fails to read the level correctly, it can cause the same sort of error problem. Pressure pots can fill with the "grey soap gunk" and switches pressure are a reletively common fault also. Good luck
