Try ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (printer IP address. if you get a answer back (no timeout). then you have a good connection.
go to start>>printer and faxes>> add a printer.
select network pirnter, and let the operating system find the printer.
if it find it, then install the driver on the PC try a test page.
if not, then you have to install the printer as local.
select to creat a new port, with standard TCP/IP port. insert the printer IP address.
install the pirnter driver and try a test page.
