I have had similar problems with my Mag LCD monitor. I recently dicovered that the problem was with the adapter and not the monitor. Try replacing the power adapter.

Please check the "Power save" setting under "Screen saver"

Are you sure you installed to the right side...There (-) side too you know! Also, testing the blue buttons alike caps too....

There are few possible reason that the screen doesn't comes properly. You should check these things carefully 1. Make sure the capacitor chipset is good . 2. Soldering need to be perfect ( because if you put more than it needed then sometimes it make problems). 3. Check the LCD paper displaced or not.

I would think that the monitor is the issue, especialy that in safe mode it still does not function properly!

The fault with the monitor may be in the scan amplifier circuits, and or the power supply.

When I used to service these, I found many times that there were defective electrolytic capacitors in the scan amplifier sections and the power supply that gave problems.

This type of repair is time consuming, and when out of warranty it may not be worth the cost.

I would be seriously considering an LCD monitor.

Sounds like the inverter is dying/died. Take a flashlight and shine it directly or at a large angle at the screen - is the picture still there? If so then the backlight inverter has failed (very common). You can either send it off to get fixed (expensive) OR buy a new inverter and change it yourself (sometimes cheap, sometimes expensive) OR you can repurpose another inverter in your monitor (requires electronic skills and experience but very cheap - http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=ccfl+light+kit )

I had the same problem. I contact the manufactuer and they refused to fix it. They said it would cost an additional $100 to have it fixed. I have not even had it a year. I thought products sold in America were suppose to last longer than a year? What has happened to companies standing behind there products. Beware of this monitor!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!! LT1919WDB

my monitor is 17'' lcd...... mag innovision model: LT716s..before was working well but now the lcd monitor don't to turn or either the led doesn't turn or make any sign.... no matter whta the lcd stay blak,,,,,do not want to turn on....

usually this problem is caused by a faulty inverter circuit. transistors might been running too hot or a leaky capacitors also.not an easy task but try looking down for any defects on high voltage sections.
