Question about Clarion N.I.C.E. 430 Car GPS Receiver
I have owned the unit for a year and would like to update the data online. How do I do this?
The map data is ready for the upgrade. However, Clarion and the data supplier have been at odds over licencing disagreements. This is ridiculous. The current date for upgrade availability for the NICE 430 is 'sometime' in April. You can call Clarion Canada customer service and they will put you on an email list so that when the upgrade is available, you will be notified. Get ahold of 'Technical Support' at their office at Oakville, Ontario. The phone number is 905-829-4600. Good luck to you!

Once its attained by one of us we should open an account on Rapid Share and save it as a 6 part (2MB downloaded free by anyone) RAR file so that anyone can rip it, and drop it onto a 2GB SD card

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
